At Renaissance Art Center, we are monitoring the on-going developments related to the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, with great interest.
We take the safety and well-being of our parents, students and employees seriously. We are watching updates from MCPS & the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We encourage you to continue to follow CDC updates as they become available. Please contact your local health and public officials for questions specific to your area. Here is a link to their site, as well as the World Health Organization:
As we face an uncertain future in regard to coronavirus, be assured that we are keeping focus wholly on the health and safety of all who participate in our classes and camps. As we prepare for what may come, we will continue to make this our highest priority. We are cleaning surfaces and reminding students to wash their hands & will do our best to make sure our center is as safe as possible. We urge you, as parents, to remind children of their own cleaning habits. If your child is sick, please do not have them attend classes. We will honor any necessary make up classes you need.
At this time, we do not anticipate any disruptions or cancellations to any of our classes, Spring Break & Summer Camps. We will continue to monitor the situation and take common sense measures.
Let's work together, not panic and as a community, we will get through this. Please let us know if you have any questions.
